Spring recycling bug hit today. So the sun has finally come out of hiding in the NorthWest and I am feeling the itch to get out and dooooo something! I saw this little gem of a project yesterday when my friend Kimberly posted it to Facebook. Another little tidbit about me: I have had this crazy ongoing project in my kitchen (ongoing means a couple years now – really) where I am papering my walls with real wine labels. Donated by anyone I can talk into it, I soak the labels off then apply them to my wall. Needless to say I end up with A LOT of bottles and could fill my and the neighbors recycle bins for a week!
Now, I do other things from the kitchen so some of these have been used for gifting sauces or homemade wines but I still have bunches so I was almost at the point of slipping a few in the bin each week to avoid looking like a lush when I saw this beautiful idea!
The other thing that came my way this week was in the way of garden furniture. I like rustic…not polka dots but all I need is a good idea and colors and patterns can be made to fit me and added later right!?
So here I am sharing…if recycling is you, have fun! If eclectic is you, Have fun. If rustic is you, HAVE fun. If inexpensive is you, HAVE FUN! And if next year you want a change, rest in the fact you are not spending so much you can’t make that change.
