In Him (Jesus) is life, and the life is the light of men.
This year has been one of new beginnings for Rob and me. In January we signed papers for our house and were mostly done unpacking in April sometime. In May, Rob tilled up about 1 /3rd of the backyard for a garden spot which yielded exceedingly abundantly so much that I was busy canning and sharing until October when Rob tilled the garden under preparing it for next year,
We started attending a new church in June and we are really enjoying it and starting to get to know people.
This fall Rob spent putting guttering on parts of the house to avoid a damp basement and the other odd jobs to get the house ready for colder weather. As Rob did those things, I redecorated the bathroom in a nautical theme and started with the spare room by putting in some new drapes. Recently we decorated for Christmas and I did really well creating a festive atmosphere with greenery, candelabras and nativities. We had our first Christmas party in our new home and had a full house of friends and family mingling; many meeting for the first time – quite a pleasure to see them all enjoying themselves in our home.
Rob is still working Wal-Mart overnights and got a taste of “Black Friday” chaos this year. He said it wasn’t so bad considering they had wall to wall people. I am still working on my xocolat business and now have a website built and still enjoy sharing healthy chocolate with anyone who wants to listen.
I would love to hear from you.
Again… Merry Christmas!
